Unable to get report to update through data gateways

We have a report that has been working for many years, however, we had to update the report with a new query, and in doing so we are no longer able to get the report to refresh through the gateways. The new query that was added was from the same database as the other queries in the report. One thing that I'm seeing that seems strange is when I look at the gateway connection in the cloud for this data source it is wanting us to add a connection for our cloud-based Sharepoint

 

Nothing I have tried allows us to click the apply and get this report online.

We have many other reports that refresh just fine through the gateways.

    I'm running into a similar situation, although we didn't make any recent changes to the PBI's that are failing.  The SharePoint connection was not on the "Gateway Connection" in the refresh settings, it was connected via "Data Source Credentials". 

    I am about to test moving the SharePoint connection to a dataflow so that way the main report will be connected to a dataflow and not directly connected to the SharePoint site.
