Power BI service and Desktop, in both places I am unable to see date in expected date format (yyyy-MM-dd) in Slicer.
I have made sure below things so far:
1. Date format in table is set to expected date format (yyyy-MM-dd)
2. System Date format is set to expected date format (yyyy-MM-dd)
3. Power BI Service Language set to Default (browser language)
4. I am using Microsoft Edge and language set to English (United Kingdom)
I cannot change Regional Setting in Desktop, as I see the message
Still, when I run my report in browser, or when I see it in Desktop, the slicer date format shows dd/mm/yyyy
Hi @giramswa ,
I do the test and find that date format in slicer is related to its own regional settings.
As you seen, I have changed my date format as "yyy-mm-dd", but in slicer, it still show as “mm-dd-yyy"
But change the slicer type, it will show as the same as date format:
You can try this way to see if it works.

Thank you for your inputs, however this is not helpful in my case because end uers do not prefer list of dates over a slider.
