Unable to edit credentials for gateway connection to MySQL

Hi, I am new to PowerBI, so please bear with me.

 

I was able to connect to my MySQL server using the PowerBI desktop with the same credentials. But when I tried editing the creditials on BI service it gave me the error shown below. I installed "On premise data gateway (personal mode). Any idea why? Thanks!

    Can you please expand the show details so we can see what the actual error message is?

    You could register/install on-prem gateway into your tenant, right?
    On your screen there is no on-prem gateway available. There is "Personal cloud conncetion" selected not your gateway...and not sure about potential limitations for personal mode gateway.
    Just an idea
