Unable to download PBI report through deployment pipeline

Hello Team,

In the Prod workspace we are trying to download all of the pbix files for one of the dataset and there are multiple reports but only three reports that are greyed out when we try to download them where as we are able to download other than three reports and I have admin access of the workspace as well as admin access of the deployment pipeline.

We can’t seem to figure out why this would be since the same reports that are on our QA workspace can be downloaded just fine and all we did was go through the deployment pipeline and deploy them. Is there anyone who could maybe look into this and let us know what we are missing? Thanks so much!

Hi @Anonymous Actually we have successfully deployed datset which is modified with XMLA endpoint from QA workspace to Prod workspace after that when we check download this file is greyed out for three reports but totally we have 6 reports in that three are greyed out and remaining 3 we are able to see download option. So i want to know why three reports are greyed out remaining three are not?

Hi @Anonymous ,

There are some restrictions on downloading datasets or reports: Downloading a .pbix file after deployment isn't supported as part of the deployment pipeline (ALM).

after backwards deployment from UAT to DEV, the option to download reports is greyed out.
