Unable to do refresh data in data flow

I am unable to refresh data flows below is  the error i am getting

Data format error:input couldn't recognised as a valid excel document

Able to refresh in power query

Hi @Anonymous ,

Did you check the Applied Steps in Query Editor?

Typically, a step "Changed Type" is created when importing data from Excel.Please try to adjust the generated code to switch the data type to Text.

Hi Eyelyn,

My problem isn't been solved yet. When i am importing data from sharepoint to services i am getting an error -"Data format error - inputs couldn't recognise with invalid excel document"

Hi @Anonymous ,

The Excel document may have some invalid parts that make it unrecognizable. I have found a solution for the same issue reported in Issues Forum ,please check if this could help you a little.
