Hi,
Recently found that I am unable to create any paginated reports despite being able to in the past as whenever I attempt to create a paginated report I receive the below message. Just to clarify, I am able to edit previously created paginated reports and I receive the below error message when attempting to create paginated reports on reports that I created, own and have no RLS against them or parameters.
Any help to allow me to create paginated reports ASAP would be greatly appreciated.
An unexpected error occurred.

Hi @Simon_537,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric community Forum.
Thanks for raising your concern and after going through that details we have reproduced the scenario, and it got worked below is the procedure of that:
First, we will obtain a blank report from the report builder.
Next, click on the 'Get Data' option to import the sample data from the Excel file.
Here, it shows how to import the sample data from the excel file.
After obtaining sample data from Excel, we need to sign in with our account and then click the next button.
It will display the type of data we have, then click on transform data.
First, click on the insert option to select the table. Next, drag the table into the white box shown in the image. After importing the table, navigate to the home tab and click the Run option.
After clicking the run button, the report will be generated as shown in the image below.
If this post helps, then please give us ‘Kudos’ and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Thankyou.

Thanks for the steps, got it to work now through report builder although I used to be able to create paginated reports directly in service which was a lot simpler but this solution works.
