Unable to create Embed code for publishing to web (Public). How to share it with public/free users

I have created a report in mixed storage mode. I am on Pro Licence. The first source is a Power BI dataset hosted on power bi and the second source is Clickhouse database which is connected through ODBC. The dataset is set to incrementally refresh and fetch data from API.

After going through the whole excruciating pain of setting up & finally resolving the following errors

1. One or more cloud data sources for this dataset have been deleted.

2. Recreate cloud data sources & there is no available gateway 

I am not able to generate the embed code. When I click on publish button nothing happens. 

Please tell me the solution as I have to share this report with clients who do not have Pro Licences. Is there any workaround available? How can I share it with my clients? My previous reports have been shared with the clients using publish to web option

Hi @Ryujin ,

 If you use the Power BI dataset as a data source, the connection mode defaults to live connection, with the following limitations in publish to web：

• Reports using any Live Connection data source, including Analysis Services Tabular hosted on-premises, Analysis Services Multidimensional, and Azure Analysis Services.
• Single sign-on data query models, including composite models on Power BI datasets or Azure Analysis Services.

Perhaps you can also consider the following way to share:

Store reports in the Premium capacity, where users can view the report for free

I have already refered the following doc:

Publish to web from Power BI 

Tried to generate embed code in using different browser (firefox) - failed (nothing happens)

I can generate code for portal or website but cant generate it for publish to web. No errors are being thrown.
