Unable to connect to the data source undefined. azure sql insert

Hi,

I am trying to read Azure SQL db.

from PBI desktop it runs fine, when I try from PBI service it does not refresh and it gives me an error

Unable to connect to the data source undefined.

    thank you for this replay. my credentials are fine.

    I already found the solution for me. I combined to many sources in one query.

    I did a split to different queries and it runs fine now

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Once you upload to the Power BI Service, you have to go into the dataset settings and set the Data Source Credentials to enable the refresh to take place.
