Unable to connect to sharepoint excel file

Hi everyone.
I need to connect a Dataflow in PBI Service to a pair of excel files stored in an organizational folder for this project in Sharepoint.

I have tried the 3 different connections for sharepoint available and none of them worked, I can only see other folders but not what I'm looking for.
I created a "shortcut" fo this folder and I tried to connect to it via "Excel Workbook" connection and I am able to see the name of the folder that I'm looking for (see screenshots below), but when I access the folder it seems empty.

Can someone please help me on understand how to connect to this excel files in sharepoint?

best regards, David.

If you're trying to combine two similarly-structured files, then you want the SP folder connector. It's very picky about the URL you use to connect - it wants the top-level site URL, so usually ending in whatever word comes after /sites/, not the full path.

Hi @davidismaeloch

have you tried to connect to it using the SharePoint Folder connection?

From there you could then select your files?
