Unable to connect to SQL server on the web

Maybe a parameter on SQL setup is missing

Hello, I have connected my SQLserver to PBI desktop and then I publish it. Also I installed Gateway personal mode as always. When I try to edit my credentials (windows autoration without impersonation) to every database I use to my project  in order to schedule refresh etc I receive a message Failed to update data source credentials: Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed.

Also, I must add that I use windows edge browser and I work local on the same server localy. (SQLserver and the browser are local)

I tried also the ip address instead of the sqlserver name same results.

The also local Power Bi Desktop works with my dataset (semantic) perfect within connectivity and refreshs

Maybe a parameter on SQL setup is missing

Hi @kandral64

Could you confirm that you have created the data source in the Gateway in the Power BI Service?
