Unable to connect or create reports with streaming Datasets

With a streaming dataset, there is no underlying database, so you cannot build report visuals using the data that flows in from the stream. As such, you cannot make use of report functionality such as filtering, custom visuals, and other report functions.

 

In your scenario, please click on the edit button to check if there is a Historic data analysis button. If it is, turn on this button then you can create the report from this dataset. If the button isn't available, it means this dataset is a streaming dataset, which can't be used for creating the report.
