Unable to call power app commentary form that embedded into power bi report through Power Bi tiles

Hi Team

 

I am Facing an issue of not able to call power app commentary that embedded into one of the power bi report , and this power bi report calling through Power Bi tiles via Embeded URL in power app.

 

If any solution, please help me!

Hi @snehagirhe,

 

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

 

Could you check if the Power App and the Power BI report have the right permissions set up? The user needs to have access to the Power BI report to use the Power App.

If you encounter any specific errors, please provide them.

So here is my detail scenario issue :

  • I am creating one lading page in power app to put all power bi reports navigation into one place for users. all reports are fetching via power bi tiles from power app (landing page).
  • whereas one report have already one embedded power app commnetry feature which i want to add in lading page. So for this I am using  power bi embeded link to

once I add embedded commentry fature report into power app , its appearing in preview mode  and not in play mode.

I have created both Power app in same env. when I am cheking in preview mode, I am able to see Embedded power app but not in Play mode.

- make sure you are using the same environment

- make sure the PowerApp has been created from within the Power BI report, not from PowerApps Studio.
