Hi Everyone, hope this message finds you well.
I created a report that contains decomposition tree visual to explain a measure by organizational hierarchy. For each node, I added a drillthrough page to explain the measure more granulary. It works perfectly in power BI desktop.
The issue came up when I uploaded it to the power BI service. Same as desktop, the drillthrough works perfectly when I open as report. But when I pin the report to be a new dashboard, I am unable to drillthrough. I do not find anything when right-click each node.
Please kindly give me your suggestion about the issue. Thank you in advance.

Hi @ben73
When you pin a visual from a report to a dashboard, the dashboard item becomes a static snapshot of that visual. This means that interactive features like drillthrough, which are available in reports, are not supported directly from dashboard tiles. This is why you're unable to initiate drillthrough actions when interacting with the decomposition tree visual pinned to a dashboard.
Best Regards,
Jayleny
