Hi,
I pasted excel content onto a Configuration Table (enter data in Power BI Desktop) unchecked Enable Load and Include in refresh option in Power BI Desktop.
I generated a list by referncing this Buffered Configuration Table. This list is also disabled for load and refresh.
However after publishing to Power BI service, if I download the PBIX file, I see that both the list and config table is included for refresh!!!
How do I disable refresh for this table?
This is a configuration table that I wish to use for multiple join operations/ filtering options
Hi, @Anonymous
To disable refresh for a table in Power BI, you can follow these steps:
Open the Power BI Desktop file that contains the table you want to disable refresh for.
Go to the Home tab and select Edit Queries.
In the Queries pane, select the table you want to disable refresh for.
In the Properties pane, locate the option for Enable Load and uncheck it.
Repeat the same steps for any other tables you want to disable refresh for.
Save and publish the report to Power BI Service.
After following these steps, the table should be disabled for refresh in Power BI Service. If you still see the table included for refresh after publishing to Power BI Service, you can try refreshing the report and checking again. If the issue persists, you can try deleting the table from the report and re-adding it with the Enable Load option unchecked.

Yes. I do know the steps.
My question is .. after publishing the report (after following the above steps),
7. Download PBIX file from service ...
Open Advance editor ... and you will see that the static tables are now enabled for refresh!!! Hence I wanted to bring this to your attention.
