Unable to Connect to Databricks

I keep getting an Unable to Connect message when trying to connect to Databricks.

 

"The 'Driver' property with value '{Simba Spark ODBC Driver}' doesn't correspond to an installed ODBC driver." 

 

I work for an organization and followed the steps to connect that every other person uses to establish this connection but I am unable to... I see that the latest version of PowerBI available is version 2.108.564.0. My machine has version 2.102.845.0 installed even though my administrator downloaded it yesterday. Perhaps this is the issue? I am not so sure.

    Hi markusapplegate 


    First install simba spark driver and try to create pencil connection there and see if that works for you or not. I faced a similar issue when working with databricks as firewall on our gateway server was blocking the connection which I was able to identify y doing this.

     

    Based on your error it looks like you are missing the driver on your machine or there is a type mismatch 32-64 but.

    Please check these bits if it helps otherwise share the findings.

     

    Also please can you confirm which connector are you using to connect to databricks.
