Need some help figuring this out.
I've been publishing a dashboard for some time. In the desktop app, under modeling, I have users restricted to seeing just their data. This scenario after publishing has worked seamlessly for a couple of years, until now.
The error people are getting is below...kind of useless in terms of helping me figure out how to fix it.
Once the user selects close they can see the pages, but everything is blank.
As the admin, once I published the data, as I normally do, I can see all and have no issues. I checked permissions and nothing has changed from when I originally set it all up, but users still can't access.
I opted for a complete deletion of the workspace and created a new workspace and published the data again and still no access.
Using two users who had no issues before and now have problems, I've done the following:
1. Both users have direct access to the dataset and report as viewers only - they can't share or modify.
2. both users have access to the workspace as viewers
3. even when I share and copy the link and am logged in as them...the same issur occurs.
I am at a loss as to how to get my users to have access. Something has changed which now prevents them from accessing. As I said this has been seamless from updating the data, saving and publishing.
One further point - in the desktop app each user is restricted to their own data and I am able to view that data when I select VIEW AS, so something has to be happening at the publishing level that is preventing the users from accessing.
