URL filter with workspace group permissions

First off, I've been able to get the URL filter to work within a workspace when the user is a member of the workspace group.  If i "share" the workspace dashboard with another user it seems like it's...

    Hi fred_styles,

     

    I can use url filter in group report which other user shared. Can you ensure they have edit permission?

Sorry for late reply.

 

In this workspace we are sharing out dashboards to individual users, that can only view.   Only workspace members can edit.  But I think I found my answer and will move on. I believe you are correct that only editing members can use the URL filter.  #unfortunate.
