Turn off navicagtion pane
Hi bdherh ,
If `?navContentPaneEnabled=false` (or `&navContentPaneEnabled=false`) is removed after the report loads, this can happen in some current Power BI / Fabric Service experiences. This parameter is commonly used as a workaround, but it should not be considered a guaranteed permanent setting for every standard Power BI Service report URL.
At present, Microsoft provides settings to change how the Pages pane is displayed for example, showing pages as tabs at the bottom, but there is no universal report setting that permanently disables the Pages pane across all Power BI Service experiences.
For a more reliable workaround, you can keep one visible landing page and use buttons/bookmarks to navigate to hidden pages. If the report is shared through a Power BI App, you can also review the app navigation options there.

Hi bdherh
The reason you cannot find a global "Pages toggle" in the standard workspace settings is that the left-hand Pages pane cannot be entirely disabled inside a raw workspace view; it is a native container element of the Power BI Service interface. However, since you have already built custom navigation buttons on your dashboard, you can easily completely hide that standard Pages pane from your end users by publishing the report inside a Power BI App. When you build the App, go to the Content step of the setup, select your report, open its individual settings, and uncheck the "Show in navigation" or "Visible" toggle for all the underlying sub-pages, leaving only the main landing page active. This forces the App wrapper to hide the left-hand navigation structure entirely, providing a clean, seamless experience where users are forced to use your custom buttons to move between the views.
