Tsv from Azure data lake doesn't read data

I have a bunch of tsv files that are imported to power bi from Azure data lake. The files were read without problems until 4days ago. Now when the dashboard/report is refreshed the tsv files don't have anything in them. The refresh doesn't fail, it completes but nothing is read. I can see the tsv files are not empty in Azure data lake but when I tried to read them into power bi, I get nothing.

This has started only from 8/20, before that the dashboard was set to autorefresh and it updated daily without issues. Any recent changes that could be causing the problem?

  • Hi there

Have you installed the latest version of Power BI Gateway?

It could be possibly an update with the Mashup Engine?

    Hi data_insights ,

Based on your description, the refresh was successful and the data exists.

Is this visual a tile or live page?

If it is a live page,we need to refresh the dashboard page which contains report live page to update data.

    Best Regards,
    Liang

The issue seems to have been fixed by itself. I haven't done anything. I'm guessing its something to do with power bi updates. I had trouble opening a pbi files earlier and error I got was "update to newer version of Power BI" , I updated my Power BI and tried but I still couldn't open the file but now no trouble opening the file as well.
