Trouble adding fields to a visual in Embedded or Service

Today just noticed that users are having trouble selecting fields from the Data panel of a report in Service or Embedded in our application.  In embedded mode, it's worse: clicking the field to add to selected visual just makes the Data panel scroll away; repeating this gives same result.  In service, it works exactly 50% of the time. The 1st time you try, it fails (same scroll away behaviour), but 2nd time it works; try again (3rd time), it fails, again (4th time), it works.  Tried in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox (all embedded) and each has same behavior.  The only work-around we have is: use Data panel's Search box, enter some text that will show the tables/fields you want, THEN the selecting/unselecting works as it always did before. Anyone else able to replicate?
