Trigger Email whenever data refresh happen in Power BI.

Hi,

I want to trigger an email to group of people, whenever data is refreshed in Power BI dashboard.

Is there any way ?

I used subscription option but it caution me saying that " You can't Subscribe others because this artifact has row level security "

Could anyone suggest me any alternative way to achive this ?

Hi @Anonymous，

It seems that your dataset has set Row-Level- Security which is a known limitation for subscription lisited in here.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid there is no options for us to trigger Email whenever data refresh happen for the report configured with RLS.

Hi there,

This is not the case in my dataset. I am using live connection with Analysis Services Tabular models and there is no security set up in my data model.

I am still getting the error message.

Is this supported in PBI Service? The help documentation is not so useful.
