Transferring dataflow to service principal

I am transferring a workspace to a Service Principal in order to be able to refresh the workspace using an API call. I managed to transfer the dataset to the Service Principal using PowerShell. However, the dataset refresh does not work given that the associated dataflows are not managed by the Service Principal.

I am looking for the API call to transfer the dataflow to the Service Principal. This cannot be done from the PowerBI front end, as you cannog log in as the Service Principal.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Hello, is there any new information on this? We are trying to implement similar functionality and having the datasets and dataflows run independently under a service principal instead of being tied to a specific person's AD account

I was looking for the same functionality..  there is no takeover ownership for dataflow like Datasets. Please let me know if you find any alternates ..  Reference --> https://docs.microsoft.com/ja-jp/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/take-over-in-group

You cannot refresh a workspace. You can only refresh dataset partitions and dataflows.

Maybe you can explain a bit more what you are ultimately trying to achieve.
