Timeout expired error in Web Service but not in Desktop Client

Getting following error in Web Service but not in Desktop Client. Which doesn't makes sense. Error is not pointing to any step except a table. Tried optimizing queries but of no help.

Kindly advice.

Its a Salesforce DataSource & I'm using it in PBI since past 4 years only when I added few columns & published I'm getting this error that too only in PBI Web Service.

The issue is that it is taking too long to get the data and is timing out. What is your data source?

For the SQL Server Connector in Power BI, it has a default timeout value limit of 10 minutes, which is mentioned in the official documentation of the Power BI SQL Server Connector. So there will be random errors when the data is refreshed:

Please try to set the timeout time for this connection when you connect to SQL Server Database with Power BI Desktop.

You can restart the server on the client or upgrade the gateway to the latest version:
