Timeout error at 225 seconds

I am running a Direct-query to SQL Server and embedded a report to our internal portal.

For some of the visuals, I am getting time out error at 225 seconds. 

Is there a way that I can change that to different time?

If so, where can I change this property ?

It would appear that there is a timeout setting on the DirectQuery link to your SQL Server Source.

Could you have a look at the data source settings and see if there is a timeout value?

That would make sense as to why it is failing.

I would suggest as in the image you sent to ensure that your queries can respond in less than 4 minutes. So there might be some optimizations that are required.

Or look at the new Aggregation tables in Power BI which was released in the September Version
