Tiles display (Blank)

I went to my dashboard this morning, and instead of my tiles displaying a current value, they showed "(Blank)".  I had to manually delete and re-pin one of my tiles, as shown in this screenshot:

    Were your tiles pinned with filters applied which would evaluate to blank?

     

    All applied filters are preserved when a tile is pinned to a report, and changes to the filters in a report do not alter the filters of an already-pinned tile.

      No, the filters only narrow down the resultset.  The report (from which the tile came from) still displays the correct data, and doesn't have any issues.  We have an automated job that refreshes our data daily, and the problem appears to be that the tile encounters difficulty refreshing after the daily data load.

      In my live connection report, the filters do evaluate to (Blank) till the data is available by the 8th of the month. Is there a way that I can provide a custom message instead of this (Blank) message and show the actual value when the data is available?
