These email addresses re invalid or duplicate

Trying to share a Workspace with someone outside of our organization. (They have a different domain in their email address)

I click on the ... beside the Workspace name and click "Workspace access". In the modal I add the user's email address.

The below error pops up which states "These email addresses re invalid or duplicate" and I cannot save this person as an admin, member, viewer, etc.

Is this functionality or a bug?

If it is functionality, how to agencies get around this issue?

Do they need to get access to the customers PowerBI to setup the workspace for them?

Can I change a security setting in our organization's Microsoft 360 general settings that will allow us to share workspaces outside of our organization?

Thanks

Andy

Hi. It's not that easy to share with external users. First you need to do some configurations in Azure AD and I'm not sure you can add them to the workspace. I think you can only share individual reports and dashboards.

First be sure you have this admin portal option enable: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-portal#export-and-sharing-settings

Learn more about sharing externally.
Also, you can find more information here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-azure-ad-b2b

Regards, hope this helps
