The scheduled refresh failed after taking ownership from take ownership api

I hit the api for taking ownership of the dataset to run my update parameters API. but the issue is Now I am hitting the refresh data set API and the dataset is not getting refreshed as Ownership is not on Power Bi now.

Can anybody please help me solve this?

 

This is update parameter API - 

https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/groups/{group_id}/datasets/{dataset_id}/Default.UpdateParameters

 

This is the Dataset ownersip API I am using - 
https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/groups/{group_id}/datasets/{dataset_id}/Default.UpdateParameters

Have you solved the current problem? If you have already solved the current problem, then you can share your workaround here or mark your helpful reply as a solution so that others in the community can quickly find an answer if they encounter the same problem.
You can also check the following:
You should first make sure that you are the owner of the semantic model, if not, then you may encounter the error you are now in.
You can try to build your own test semantic model and then update your parameters through the API to see if it works correctly, if it works, then the cause of your original problem is caused by your permissions.

Hi @AkashJain ,

 

You can open that semantic model settings and you need update the data source credentials to fix this issue.

Hi. Once you change parameters from the API, the datasource might not be exactly like PowerBi knows. That makes PowerBi ask for the credentials again. Make sure to edit credentials with the UI for that exact parameter configuration.
