Hi,
The Datarefresh is failing with the error 'The operation was throttled by power bi premium due to insufficient memory'.The User tried to run Adhoc refresh and it did not work.
When the User deletes the dataset and publish again its working fine.
Please provide your solution on how to solve the issue.
Regards,
Pradeep
Can we see details on the query level?
yes, for whatever reason they are called artifacts:
Artifacts - A list of Power BI items active during the selected period of time. The item name is a string with the syntax: item name \ item type \ workspace name
. You can expand each entry to show the various operations (such as queries and refreshes) the item performed.
We are already on P3 capacity and we are able to refresh when there is no other users running queries on the dataset. Is there any way we can see a break down of the user activity.
you mean beyond the individual queries?
Is there any way to see memory on the activity or artifact level. We are on P3 capacity and my understanidng is that memory assignement is 100GB per model. How is it posible to reach memory capacity if model size is 30GB. Any thought on that.
Very easy to do with a single errant DAX measure query.

Thank you very much for your reply and the link you provided. Is it possible to add memory usage on interactive operations
you can modify the report as needed. Not sure if they offer more memory utilization details.
- upgrade your Premium SKU for example from a P1 to a P2
- enable elastic capacity
(warning: both options incur additional cost)
