Solved

The key didn't match any rows in the table error message. SQL server in Power BI Service.

I have a gateway which refreshed my datasources. They worked fine but now suddenly it gives an error "The key didn't match any rows in the table error message". I can update everything just fine in the desktop version, but not in the Power BI Service. I've seen multiple reasons for this issue, but I haven't found mine yet.

I have multiple reports and they all show the same error. De data source is a SQL Server.

UPDATE: I tried changing the paths, changing the privacy levels and changing dataformats without success.

So after troubleshooting, I discovered that the authentication method for the gateway for that data source was using 'Windows' instead of 'Basic'. I updated all of my credentials and it works now!

    Hi Anonymous ,

I will provide several solutions and you could try and check if they work.
    1. Check the credential. Confirm it is the same credential used in your desktop.

    2. Update to the latest version of gateway.

    3. Re-configure your gateway.

If these solutions are useless, you could create a support ticket for further help.

In which way I have to change the configuration of my gateway to make this works. I have the same problem... everything is fine in desktop but not on powerbi.com for the refresh of my data.

      Here's my error message:
