Hey there,
I have a semantic model datasource that has been working perfectly published on powerbi.com, and was automatically refreshing using a gateway. My password was changed and the refreshes have stopped working since then. From most people having this problem, it seems to be solved by going to the Data source credentials (like in the screenshot below), and then pressing Edit Credentials to update them, but in my case it says that credentials are not required and I have no way of reauthenticating them. I tried refreshing it in power bi desktop (which had me reuathentice and it worked) and republishing, but it still does not let me refresh through online.
Is there anything I can do?

By simply removing not having it use the gateway, it seems like that allowed it to successfully refresh now, and the 'edit credentials' button is showing again.

@Anonymous unfortunately it doesn't seem to be refreshing itself, and even on the scheduled refresh times it is still failing giving me the same errors so that doesn't seem to fix it. I also don't have the 'Sync with Onedrive and Sharepoint' dropdown when looking at the datasource's settings.
@GilbertQ Could you help point me to where I could go to do that? When I open the settings for the gateway, it just has this, but no place for me to actually edit the credentials for the gateway. It even says the Status for the gateway is 'Online' so I can't seem to find a way to refresh them.
Hi @yosefzav ,
For the sharepoint data source, we don't need to configure credentials for it. Just make sure its file ID doesn't change and it will refresh itself. You can refer to:Data refresh in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn. Also set here
Best regards.

Hi @yosefzav
You will have to go into the power BI gateway data source setting credentials and update your password there.
