Post PatronTenant Migration - Premium workspace to Pro
Hi,
We are working on a Power BI tenant migration from Infy tenant to Tata tenant.
In Infy tenant, we have a P1 capacity
In the Infy tenant, we have a workspace WK1, which is currently a Premium workspace currently reside in this P1.
Questions:
If we migrate this workspace (WK1) to the Tata tenant, can it be moved as a Pro workspace instead of Premium?
Are there any additional checks or considerations we need to be aware of during this migration?

Yes, WK1 can be migrated and reconfigured as a Pro workspace in the Tata tenant. However:
- Once WK1 is detached from P1 Premium capacity, it will revert to shared (Pro) capacity.
- All users accessing WK1 content will now require Power BI Pro licenses.
- Any Premium-only features (like larger dataset sizes, higher refresh rates, paginated reports, AI visuals, etc.) will be disabled unless Tata tenant has Premium capacity or Premium Per User (PPU) licensing
