Temporarily disable gateway

In a Premium capacity or in the gateway service, is there a way to temporarily stop the On-Premise gateway so that all refreshes stop and can then be resumed later?

 

We're conducting a Disaster Recovery test and need to temporarily stop all scheduled report refreshes without going into them all 1 by 1. Unfortunately, the nature of the DR test will affect the data and we cannot just leave the refreshes running.

Hi. First, the refreshes can't resume. If you cancel them they will start over.

The only way to disable the gateway would be from the server where it is installed. Go there and stop de windows service for the gateway.

@ibarrau Thanks for that. That was sort of my assumption but I didn't know if there was a more elegant way to do it.
