Table is not reflecting correctly based on the filters.

Hey guys,

I have two filters "Account Status" and "Total Vendor Connections".
Based on these 2 filters, there are 4 retailers left.

However, on the bottom Matrix Visaul, it is still showing all the retailers. I want it to display ONLY the 4 retailers that are filtered out  - Academy Sports, Canadian Tir, Costco, Grainger.

How do it do that?

Your help is appreciated!

Hi @v-jianboli-msft @TomMartens
Sorry for the late update on this!

Turned out the columns (with the same column name) I used for the slicer and the matrix are from two different tables. Creating a relationship between the two tables and only using the Account Name from the Account Lookup table solved the issue!

Thank you guys!!

Hi @mhsieh ,

Are there any relationship between the source tables of Slicer and Matrix? Does it work fine in Desktop or this issue only occured in service?

Please provide more details about your table and your problem or share me with your pbix file after removing sensitive data.

Hey @mhsieh ,

provide a screenshot from your data model showing all the involved tables. Also indicate the source of a slicer like so: 'table'[column]

Also, indicate the row and columns headers you are using on the matrix visual like 'table'[column].

Regards,

Tom
