TV Wall need - Refresh Power BI data without refreshing browser.. what browser to use?

I am running a Mac Mini to power 3 TVs for my sales team to display Sales Reports via PowerBI. My goal is to have the data refresh regularly without touching the computer while displaying Chromeless....

Google a tool called "Power Update." it may be the tool you need. You can try it for free for a single document per host computer for as many computers as you have.  I dabbled with it a little at training and it seemed to function fairly well. I do not know if it is compatible with MAC but it was able to refresh the data ever 5 minutes by a simple scheduling set up which is pretty impressive.

I actually have been using Power Update with an Excel to OneDrive workflow. That process worked pretty well. 

 

I'm trying PowerBI Desktop in order to access some custom visuals like Bullet Graphs. I've been trying personal gateway and not convinced it is working correctly.

    PowerUpdate works with PowerBI as well. You could give it a try. Gateway does seem a little shifty at times for me too. If you have another computer you can use PowerUpdate for free on it as well. Let me know if you like it.
