Hi,
Looking for some help with Symmetry shading on a scatter chart. I have added symmetry shading in the Visulizations>Analytics menu. It shows up in PBI Desktop but not when I publish to Service - either on my workspace or on an app.
I have tried adding other lines from the Analytics menu and those show up when published to Service.
Any help with this would be great.
In desktop:
In Service once published:
Thanks,
M

Hi @TownleyM ,
The reason the option does not show up is probably because you had a non-numerical value/text type column in the X axis. To be clear, if both X and Y axis are numerical field with “Don't summarize”, you should able to turn on the category label. So please check your data type, if you need a non-numerical on x-axis, you may use line chart.
This is by design,When you use liner, it shows up fine on Power BI Service.

Since posting this originally I have found out that Power BI Service is not allowing for Symmetry Shading on a log axis, even though this works in Power BI Desktop. Any thoughts on why this isn't consistent between Desktop and Service?
Having the same issue, would say this is unresolved based on the above comment.
