Switching Time Zone after Publishing Report

I have a database Database View I load into PBI Desktop.  In the Database the time is stored as UTC.  So when creating the view I converted the UTC to EST.  It loads fine in the PBI Desktop.  However...

    Hi jrohlman ,

     

    Power BI times are automatically converted to UTC when published to Services irrespective of your timezone in Desktop.

    The best way to tackle is create a new custom column with calculation tending to your required time with respect to UTC.
