Support for Certificate base AAD Auth for database

Our company require us to use AAD auth for database and forbid the usage of AAD client secret, so currently we could only use certificate to access database. But looks like currently both Power BI desktop and service doesn't have the option to use certificate. Will this feature being supported in the future? Or is there a quick workaround for us?
