Summing-up monthly data

Hi  community,   any help appreciated.   My data look like this   Dec 14      1        Quote by Mr. X Dec 14      1        Quote by Mr. Y Dec 14      1        Quote by Mr. z Jan 15      1   ...

Are you using the Power BI web service or Power BI desktop. I think your data is being translated into for example "Dec 14 into 12/14/2015". If you are or can use Power BI desktop you will need to convert your dates into strings or replace for example 12/14/2015 with 12/01/2014.
