Hi all,
I've got a correlation coefficient measure that functions perfectly well in excel, but doesn't appear in power bi.
Per the screenie (rightmost measure in both apps).
What gives?
Thanks,
sff
Hi sherifffruitfiy,
Could you please share more details about the measure?
By the way, how does Power BI get the Excel data, from the Get Data->Excel?
If yes, then please take a try with the import function.
Import Excel workbooks into Power BI Desktop
Import function would automatically convert the data model from Excel into Power BI desktop, please take a check and see if this would have the measure work.
If the measure still can’t work, then we may need to take a further look at the Data model in Power BI desktop.
Regards
nah data is from a tabular model on an azure vm. the measure is kind of involved since the correlation is dynamically generated via user slicer selections.
doesn't matter tho: turns out the matrix visualization puts hierarchical row summary totals on the bottom of the pivot instead of at the top like in the excel collapsable pivots. the correl shows down there.
egg on my face lol 🙂
appreciate the reply tho!
