Hey there,
I have a problem for over a week now and I cant fix it. We have a Dataset in Power BI (Desktop and Service) which is connected to a PostgreSQL Database. Everything with the SSL certificate worked like a charme in the past. Now I can not connect to the Database with Power BI anymore. It stopped refreshing on the desktop version and with the reports in Power BI Service with the following Error:
DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.'. DataSourceKind = PostgreSQL.
It happend in without anyone did some changes or something like that. Of course we cheched the certificate of the server and the DB and it gets constantly refreshed an renewed. Every other programm or tool we use to connect to the Database is accepting the SSL certificate and works without any issue. I tried serveral things and even if I try to connect to the database with a new fresh report it is not working.
Maybe someone could help me!
Tanks in advance
I'm also same issue for PostgreSQL. Other programm we use to connect to the Database is accepting the SSL certificate and works without any issue, just PBI Desktop and PBI Service stopped to working.
Hi @FrauLehmann - Were you able to fix this issue? I'm also same issue for PostgreSQL
