Subscriptions - Filter & Slicer Context Retained

Hi all, 

I'm putting this up as something I found interesting - and annoying - when using the subscription feature that allows you to retain the changes you've made to a report. 

On the report that I've produced, I have several visuals that filter for certain occurrences in the database - mistakes in the case of the report I'm referring to - and, being as we're still in the early stages of identifying exactly what is a problem, the filters are constantly changing.

Unfortunately, every time I make an update to the filters on the report, the subscriptions ignore this change - unless the change is made on a measure. 

This leads to the graph on the right side of my report showing the correct quantities and the visuals on the left showing incorrect quantities. 

I've thought about using measures on the left so that I can retain filter context regardless of subscriptions but I think this will create another problem as I want to be able to use the number to drill through to the next visual. 

I'm thinking that the only solution is to use the Measure as the value, sync slicers across all pages and use an arrow to navigate to the drill-through page. 

Has anyone else encountered this issue or worked out a better alternative?
