Subscription - unable to add emails from same organisation

Hello,

 

I have scheduled a couple of reports for a couple of staff and this appears to work well.

 

However, when I tried to add another staff email in the Subscribe box in the existing reports. I recieve the following error;

You cannot subscribe free users or groups from a Non Premium workspace <Staff email address>

 

We don't have Premium, but have Pro. Reading from the doco we should still be able to utilse this feature.

 

We  checked the staff licence in the admin console and all looks good. What else can we check? Is this a bug?

 

I manage to add other staff successfully and others not. I'm just not sure where else to check.

      Hi Xiaoxin,

       

      Thank you for your reply. We have powerbi pro license. We continued to investigate and we found that the reason the person’s email address could not be selected because she had never gone into the powerbi portal.

      they must have gone in at least once.

      this explains why other accounts can be included in the subscription.

       

      is this the way it should work?

        Hi ljuggins3194 ,

        Yes, some of service need user to activate first. If you direct dispatch license without any login operations, hidden key/value hasn't generated.(these service can't find out correspond key/value to send requests)
