Subscription to a paginated report schedule to more than once a day

Hi All,

I want to schedule my paginated report to be saved to Sharepoint (or sent per email, doesn't matter) twice a day, but I cannot find the option, is it possible?

One question though - do you know if there is a way to override the existing file in the folder?

Hi @itskool 

Based on my testing, there is no straightforward way to do this. When the file is exported a second time, a suffix is automatically added to the filename you specify (e.g. PaginatedReportTest1.pdf).

However, you might consider an alternative, which is to use Power Automate to add a delete file action before the export file action, which ensures that only the most recent exported file exists in the folder.

Currently, Power BI's subscription feature does not support a direct setup of twice a day. Subscription frequency options include hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly. Refer to Email subscriptions for reports and dashboards in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If you need to subscribe to paginated reports twice a day, you might consider using Power Automate to create a custom process that is set to export and send paginated reports twice a day.
