Subscription to Power BI Service Support not displaying Certified Custom Visual

This article (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-report-subscribe#considerations-and-troubleshooting) suggests that certified custom visuals used in reports should display in subscriptions to the report.  However that is not my current experience.  Is there a setting that I'm missing to enable the custom visual to feature in the subscription snapshot that gets emailed out?  I've added the Custom visual to the organisational visuals and have added it to the report in Power BI Service but it's still not showing.  Am I missing something?

  • Hi fabuchanan ,

You also have to make sure in the Admin Settings for the tenant that the "Allow visuals created using the Power BI SDK" is enabled.  You may have to make the "Add and use certified visuals only..." enabled (depending on if you are using certifications).  If you have R or Python in the visual, you have to enable that setting as well.

I would appreciate Kudos if my response was helpful. I would also appreciate it if you would Mark this As a Solution if it solved the problem. Thanks!
