Subscription external email
Hi, everyone I have tested in my organization, It seems suscription can only be applied to users with same domain account. Is there any way that an external account can subscribe to a report ...
Coming in late on this but the solution is:
name__externaldomain.com#EXT#@ internaldomain. com
e.g.
If you (Larry @Gmail.com) wanted to share your report with bob @yahoo.com
Bob_yahoo.com#EXT#@gmail.com - - would go into the email section.
Unfortunately, that suggestion doesnt work for me 😞
Our externa email addresses look like this: name.lastname_domain.com#EXT#@today.onmicrosoft.com
PowerBI does not accept that as a valid email address.

Hmmm although it does let me enter these email addresses, when I press save, it doesn't actually save anything. I think they just haven't built the error messaging around this yet. Does this really work for you?Jaap

Yes it certainly works for me.
Do you perhaps have RLS enabled on the underlying dataset?
And also can you share externally via the Admin Tenant settings?
