I have seen this happen in the past when the users account details in either Azure Active Directory on On-Prem Active Directory is not configured or updated correctly.
I would chat to your AD Admin to see how they can resolve this for you.

Resolver IThanks I let them know prior and was told it's working correctly. Just showed the email directories linked to the accounts, hopefully they can resolve it.
