Hello,
When I subscribe an email for subscription and save it, it auto saves an old email for that person. IT said they see nothing wrong, and the person does not have access to the email.
Why is it "auto correcting" to an old account? the PBI license is on the email I put in.

Hello,
Thank you for following up. I still have this issue and my DBA admin does not know how to resolve the problem. Is there a way in the PBI/Azure platform to see how it treats email alias's or anything? I looked in the Azure Directory and do not see the email it changes to
I would suggest chatting to your Network/email admin to try and resolve this.
thanks for your response. That'd be enough for me, but it's going to an old email for the person's old position. This person is promoted and has a new general email, but I can't seem to send it to him because PBI "autocorrects" it. I am looking through Outlook contact emails and it has the both emails in his contact list. Don't know where to go from there.
this also prevents me from sharing the report with him, because it gets shared to his bad email. I can give him a link that will give open access, but I don't want those links floating around.
I have seen this happen in the past when the users account details in either Azure Active Directory on On-Prem Active Directory is not configured or updated correctly.
I would chat to your AD Admin to see how they can resolve this for you.
Thanks I let them know prior and was told it's working correctly. Just showed the email directories linked to the accounts, hopefully they can resolve it.
I would say it appears to be a caching error for the email address. As long as it is going to the correct person that would be good enough for me.
