Streaming Data Line Chart Time Window 1 hr max

Hello,

I set up a streaming dataset and I'm pushing data to it every minute trough Logic Apps.

I select the "Custom Streamin Data" tile and choose a line chart visualization type. Under the Line chart settings I notice the time window to display allows to choose up to 60 minutes. 60 minutes is big limitation!! I want to show a time window longer than an hour. Is that possible? I have a pro version.

HI @ogarcia,

This option is used to setting graphic update frequency and axis unit.(e.g. If you setting to 60 minutes, it mean axis unit is 60 minute and update graphic every hour)

For live chart, it can cache and display records more than one hour.

BTW, if you mean summary records more than one hour, current it seems not support. Maybe you can submit an idea from this requirement.

Hi Xiaoxin,

With regards to "This option is used to setting graphic update frequency", I don't think this is the case, at least not for me. The graphic looks to update as fast as the streaming dataset updates.

By "the axis unit", do you mean the graphic will show up a value every 60 minutes? Because that's not the case for me either.

Basically what I want is to show in the graph a 1 day trend. The longest time range for the trend I'm able to get now is 60 minutes. The streaming dataset updates about every 5 seconds, and that's how fast the dashboar looks to be updating.

Time windo set to 60 min. The time in the axis is a bit small but it is showing the trend from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM:

Time window 10 minutes, again the time doesn't show very clear but tehtrend is from 9:12AM to 9:22 AM:

I hope that clarifies my question.

Thanks,

Oscar

HI @ogarcia,

Sorry, it seems like I have misunderstood on live streaming dataset and tiles.
As you said, current you can't modify option to setting live tile to display more data.

For this scenario, you can try to submit idea for increase display date range.(I also try to open cache history data but it not effect live tiles)
