Stop Direct query report from running after clicking on "Apply" button on filter

Hi,

I have a direct query report that is connected to oracle.  It has about 200 million rows.  I have it filtered on specific record so that it comes back right away when you open the report.  For example, report is filtered on VIN# of lets say 1 and I publish this report to service.  So user opens this report and filters on specific VIN # and then clicks on "Apply" button from the filter Pane.  Is there a way to stop this query once the "Apply" button is clicked?
Lot of times, report goes on for few minutes and shows the circular buffer on top left of the report showing that the report is running and wanted to stop report from running:

Hi @Anonymous

As far as I know there is no way to stop it once it starts!

Hi @GilbertQ ,
I am already using "Add a single apply button ....".
After hitting "Apply", is there a way to stop the report from running?

thanks!

Hi @Anonymous

You could look at using the Query reduction options in Power BI Desktop and then re-publish your report?
