Hi team,
I'm facing an issue regarding RLS in Power BI Service,
I have set up RLS in Power BI desktop, which is working and then assign someone (Alexandra) to the role on PBI Service,
When I'm testing it with security / Test as role it is working but when I'm looking with her view, it didn't work anymore and I don't really understand why ...
1) Assign role to Alexandra (who is a viewer)
2) Here it 's working perfectly
3) but if I ask Alex to show me what she can view, or select her view, it doesn't work anymore
Can you help me on that issue ?
Thank you !
EMil
Hello,
Thank you for your quick answer, however in your link it is because of the role on the workspace,
In my case, Alexandra is viewer
Hi @Anonymous ,
At your end it the RLS is working file when you test it as role in Power BI service too ? and while Alexndra checks she is able to see all the data.
I suggest delete the existing RLS and create a fresh one on the desktop and check and publish and ask Alexendra to check.
Even if the issue still exists, then I suggest you to use Dynamic RLS,

Hi @Anonymous ,
I think there is some issue in RLS, can you test that once again on the Power BI Desktop first and then publish again,
Refer the below link it had similar issue,
