Hi,
I'm a beginner in Power BI and have been trying to create a report with a table of data from excel. The trouble I am facing is that at start-up, PBI seems to be incredibly slow and makes it inconvenient to work in. Is there some setting I am missing or why am I having trouble navigating through PBI desktop to even load in data? Once my data is loaded in, it even struggles to let me hover over options. Please advise.
The file I am using is about 15KB.

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Does your computer run slow before you open Power BI Desktop? Also, you need to check your computer status, go to Task Manager, it will help you monitor the running status of softwares on your computer.
Also, try this, maybe it can help
Disable Power Query background refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Hi,
I tried these solutions and they did not work. I did notice that my memory performance is increased when I open up Power Bi. Other than that, Im not sure what is creating the issue.
Does anyone have any type of advice?
Please also let me know if I am in the right section of the forum to be asking this question.
